Easy to use once installed. This is a new upgraded version on the original. The KeyLess replaces the Key Cylinder (front part) of the night latch, with a keypad which engages or dis-engages the knob operating the night latch.

The lock looks identical to the original, however, touchscreen is brighter, more responsive & the increased memory storage enables adding more user codes is an excellent addition. Easy to install and use.

Yale began supplying locks to the motor industry in 1960s, including Rolls Royce until 1991! You can ever set up individual temporary key codes to allow contractors access when your not there. Yale was founded by Linus Yale Jr, in Connecticut US. I already have this digital lock.

However I keep a 9v battery in garage just in case! I’ve got a carpenter to fit this to the door the instructions are pretty clear once you wrap your head around it and we are delighted with this lock it’s super cool! Anyway it’s owned by a Swedish Company now.

What utter rubbish & for $20 I was willing to take the risk! Bought this for a communal door at the property I manage. It’s great and really simple to use and install. Can anyone tell me?

I got a module compatible for use with most Smart Home tech. Update September 2019: I was always led to believe Yale was a British Company & all Rolls Royce cars are fitted with Yale Locks.
