Lovely Julia Donaldson book. The story is a bit long for children aged Nido, about 3 years old it is more suitable. She's made both sets of paper dolls belonging to the mother and her daughter.

Loved the story however the pages at the top of the book are ripped and appear to have a dark line across. I think it is a manufacturing error.

Some of the pages are still connected / stuck together. English is simple and easily understandable/translatable.

! They soon escape the clutches of the toy dinosaur and the oven-glove crocodile, but then a very real pair of scissors threatens…A lyrical story of childhood, memory and the power of imagination from the unparalleled JULIA DONALDSON, with stunning illustrations by the hugely talented REBECCA COBB. We borrowed this from the library as a board book initially, my 2 year old loves it so much, I went out and bought it so we could keep it. The paperback edition currently benefits from the ‘LOOK INSIDE’ facility that shows a snatch of the content.
