On my second 'experience' the unit was hot at the front (which I suspect to be a heatsink of itself) and I got a warning and advice to power down. I understand Vive, PSVR are in different leagues based on price and I will be reviewing fairly. Back into the positives and focus on the main points - It DOES feel like you are in the experience.

One difficulty I had is the fogging of the lenses: a really annoying problem to which I have not yet found a solution other than to raise or lower the visor slightly in order to Don't have your lens fogged up right in the center of your view. However, that doesn't necessarily mean it's going to look crisp and super clear as when you watch videos you can still see that it is kind of blurry in most cases even when you downloaded original file (when you use apps or watch videos, some videos offer you to download the original size file for higher quality video than streaming). The battery on my model was about 2/3 pre-charged. I can recommend puzzle and flight sim games such as Daedalus and Ultrawings.

First gen VRs had relatively low resolutions and you could see tiles in your display (seeing images consisting of dots). Although the graphics resolution is not great (the pixels are dots that are a little too big and visible), I haven't had any motion-sickness problems, so far, even though I haven't gone too far more hectic titles. That's only what we've done so far. There are plenty of inexpensive games to try and I have added my Netflix and YouTube subscriptions to my library.

In the long run, the way Gear VR does by just using your cellphone or allowing focus adjustments is far more convenient than fixed focus and making you order prescription glasses because now this requires me to go see the eye doctor and find out my subscription and ordering prescription glasses online was never a pleasant experience for me. Anyone who has a smaller nose than me should not have these problems. In my case, the Oculus GO represented the first leap into VR and I must admit that I am really satisfied.

Initself, the glasses are designed as video and film VR glasses, which gives an insight into what is technically feasible and also achieves this with flying colours. Now the Oculus Go has appeared on the market, and I bought the model with 32GB for 219€.

After that, the result can actually start. I am a general VR enthusiast and an active gamer who has been looking for new ways to play games beyond home game consoles. Researching, this didn't appear to be common problem, so I was both relieved but worried for my individual unit. This review will be updated.
