Update - I returned the damaged book and Amazon replaced immediately with a perfect copy. Given they are essential for producing the Oxygen we breathe as well as producing food and being living accommodation for many animals and insects you get information on classifications, with the book revealing there are over 60,000 species.

Its fascinating stuff that’s easy to take for granted. The back cover describes the book as “An Immersive Guide” and those are very true words as the book draws you in. It is a beautiful book.

Of course with 60,000 species to choose from the book concentrates largely on the less exotic ones. Chapter 2 concentrates on non-flowering trees, giving 1-6 pages to each described type. I took my time opening the box and just noticed a damaged corner. As full-time home educators, we really value good quality educational information resources.
