I will come back and leave an update ~3 months or so. Really happy with the way it distributes the coffee in the portafilter. Definitely beats paying 3 or 4 times the price for the brand name distributors.

The surface of the distributer is smooth and it doesn’t have sharp edges like other reviewers have noted. This is exactly what I needed and wanted. With 21g in a triple basket with the bottomless portafilter it's almost there. I was completely puzzled when the thing arrived with no instructions.

That said, this gets the job done and is literally under 1/6 the price of the ONA version (seriously, that one is $150) so I don't think the blemishes are the end of the world. A few quick turns and your running espresso.

If it weren’t tumbling around an envelope and If the little bubble wrap sleeve stayed on it (within the product box) maybe it wouldn’t have gotten those little dings and scratches. 3) When you have it down as far as you like, probably all the way leaving just enough in so that you still have some threads for the top knob to tighten in, tighten the top knob. I can see why some people say you need to tamp and some don't. 18 months update: Still using it and easier to use than other stampers.

I found a video online that made it clear in the first 30 seconds. This distributor does it's job. It did come off with washing detergent and was assembled OK. Adjusting the distribution tool couldn’t be easier.

It works great on the Ascaso Dream PID. Note - it is so heavy that the original product box fell apart in transit, and I’ve attached a pic of the box for dramatic effect. And for fun I used without my old tamping tool and was awesome, canceled my real tamper order and place the jar of sport peppers back on the shelf.
