In conclusion, an excellent record, accessible to various types of listeners, certainly more appreciated by fans of 90s sounds. A stay like this cost a fortune in 2007 and reviews about the hotel started with the words: “once in a life-time” - “once in a lifetime” you treat yourself to something like this. I will not say that I was satisfied with everything, but at least I guaranteed this wonderful disc at a fair price. The album opens with “Mojo pin”, an excellent open track, accompanied immediately afterwards by the title track “Grace”, poised between pop, grunge and folk, a bit like the whole record.

The vinyl arrived in good condition, came well packaged, classic from 1994. 4/5 The butler chooses a CD that might fit the guest from the music.

When I arrived, I was greeted with an orchid and by name, because the staff previously researched all the guests on the Internet to recognize them immediately. About the “Mandarin Oriental” you can google a lot. However, it arrived with a minor fault on the cover.

This is extremely submissive and strange to someone from modern Europe, but it belongs to the style of the house. I was accompanied to my suite (there you check in by your butler, not at the reception) and there played “Hallelujah” by Jeff Buckley when opening the door! 11 tracks as promised When unpacking the stuff I could already hear my Bangkok-CD - cool.

This CD has for my special story: in 2007 I had a stay at the “Mandarin Oriental” in Bangkok, for many years the best hotel in the world. When I first met Jeff's music, when I was just in high school I was about 18 years old, and in an interview with Katy Perry she said that in the past she had sex with songs by Jeff in the background, so I immediately went to look for him on YouTube and it was a moment I call Epiphany, because I would dive deep into his incredible music, I had never heard anyone sing like that, I was like in a trance, and I was very captivated by his story and his way of dying, well, I had been waiting for this album for years and thanks to the universe it's now on a shelf where I can see every day and remember it because it will always have a place in my heart completely ❤️
