It sucked all the fluid up in one go, and it comes with a short pipe and a couple of "adaptors" (2nd picture) should they be needed. Very easy to use and clean.

I got this so that I could "inject" the central heating radiator anti corrosion fluid in to a radiator (it worked)The small "grey object" sitting to the left is an AA size battery to give perspective.
