I had to have this! To be fair, it could be made of recycled milk cartons and nobody would ever know - it's NOT COMING OUT OF THE BOX!

I think Bowie himself would be terribly amused. This is 100% a must for any David Bowie fan and it's manufacted by BarbieThis doll is the standard size of a normal Barbie and comes in well presentated box again David Bowie themed . And then the doll arrived, and it immediately became obvious that this wasn't leaving the box any time soon, as I was introduced to the whacky world of adult doll collecting.

! You can imagine the human incarnation of this doll turning up at one of Bowie’s concerts, looking cool in the front row, around forty-six years ago. I believe that all 20,000 sold out before the release date, so I consider myself lucky to get hold of one. 5 because the pupils are not mismatched like I think they should be, but that's not an option so rounding up.

This was a pleasant surprise. "What a great idea - perfect for my granddaughter. The box it comes in has a photo and little blurb about Bowie on the back. The doll is dressed perfectly and looks bright and colourful.

The question now is - what to do with it? Information on the box tells us that this is a limited edition of 20,000 worldwide, so it’s one that collectors may well want to add to their collection.

The doll is not, as my son suggested, dressed in an 'Aladdin Sane' era costume complete with lightning bolt - that would be a good follow up to this - but is the classic "Moon forehead" Ziggy, with striped clothes and great big red platform boots. If your a fan of either Barbie or Bowie you'll love this. I love that the box is slightly off set. There is only 20,000 of these being made so highly collectable.
