We had to heat a new batch of chocolate 3 times to make the 4 bars. We've been using it for a couple years now. We just use a double broiler to melt the chocolate and then spoon it into the molds.

We use enjoy life chocolate chips to make dairy-free chocolate bars and it is so much fun. We used a half bag of Hershey’s milk chocolate morsels to make 4 bars (with a little extra leftover which we put into a silicone baking cup). I should have read more into it because I didn’t realize it didn’t come with chocolate, but other than that it was ok.

If you have kids, I'd recommend one of these kits per child to save time and cut back on arguing over who uses which mold, which insert, and who gets to handle the squeezer. The chocolate holder does get a bit hot first out of the microwave, but it was easy to use for my daughter.

This kit comes with a tool you use to melt the chocolate in and to pour the chocolate from called the Squeezer. Once you start working with chocolate you'll want to keep going; I ended up making 14 bars in 2 hours and 40 minutes (I'll add a photo to show you what I made).
