I bought used and it works great, definitely feel like I got a great deal for my money It also has a plastic black base underneath the wooden base that it doesn’t show in the pictures, but it’s not very noticeable.

Love that this light has a dimmer. It’s fairly bright and I love that it has a dimmer feature, however it’s not a cool toned light it’s definitely a warm yellow/orange. Also, like some other reviewers have stated, the top of the lamp is a bit darker because the light doesn’t seem to penetrate the top of the stone well (wasn’t that big of a deal to me).

When it’s on at night it’s a beautiful white light. Love the way it gives a soft glow and has an adjustable light - so I can use it at night on a low setting as a night light or higher when needing to do things around the room. A great size and fairly heavy.
