The sound of the sea calls to them and before they know it, they have found quite a different sort of house. The characters in this story are no exception and we loved them.
' My son loved the 3 crocodiles and the expressions on the faces are so funny! A lovely new version of a favourite fairy tale. My son has been thoroughly enjoying fairy tales recently especially Goldilocks so it was great to share the same traditional tale with a twist! there are bowls, chairs and sort-of-beds.
This was such a fun story with Goldilocks discovering a cave by the sea whilst she was hunting for the Three Bears cottage. My son loved joining in with all the repeated refrains 'Who's been sitting on my fish?
' and 'Who's been eating my seaweed? plus some rather unexpected inhabitants. We were immediately drawn to this through the gorgeous illustrations. We love David Mellings artwork.
