- Size and resolution make pixels look large and noticeable if you are coming from higher resolution/ dpi screens- No built in speakers - Not a big issue , but for the price you'd expect a little extra here- Different to the models sold in the US? Warning: The stand is massive. I'd say most people probably won't need such a high refresh-rate; especially considering the downsides of TN panels. I dunno what more there is to say, really.

- Excellent build quality all around except the attachable back cover which feels very plastic- Stand is solid, very firm and doesn't wobble the screen even if the desk shakes. I really hope the RMA process with Alienware isnt an arduous journey. You will need a relatively good CPU and GPU combination to push titles past 200 FPS.

Not a major issue and because this is a TN display and I expected this. Every review I've seen shows an LED light in the top rear part of the monitor. Without a discount (unless you REALLY want 240hz), you're better off going for a 144hz monitor that gives you much better color accuracy and such.

Maybe I have too many cables coming out the back. Conclusion:- Overall I couldn't recommend this monitor enough!

This monitor is probably one of of the best 240hz monitors super smooth I highly recommend this How did this happen?

Working on an ultra widescreen is a huge benefit, however with that monitor, the response times were nowhere near what I needed for smooth fast competitive gaming. I've been doing much research in the last few weeks to understand which gaming monitor to buy: TN, VA, IPS display panel technology came up more than once. The stand's height and tilt adjust is great, although I'd make sure you're connecting your rear IO (HDMI/DP cables and the likes) before you mount it to make that easier. The Dell Monitor software that's available is pretty useful for controlling the brightness and picture modes of the monitor without using the in-screen controls; which are still pretty good and easy to use.

I knew I needed a 1ms response time and ideally a larger resolution than 1080p, however as soon as you introduce 144Hz+ alongside the 1ms response time and 1080p+ resolution, you're already around the £400+ price mark. Here are my thoughts after owning this for around 6 months. Blacks are not deep back and reds don't pop as much as I am used to with IPS and OLED screens again my previous experience. Ideally you want to be looking straight at the screen.
