Pusser's Gunpowder Proof - so-called because of the old Navy gunpowder test to validate alcoholic strength - is a dark Navy rum from Guyana aged for a minimum of three years in ex-bourbon barrels. Color: Clear, dark coppery amber with burnished copper highlightsNose: Pungent molasses, treacle, toffee, honey and vanilla with oak, cinnamon, nutmeg and gingerBody: Full-bodied with a more enhanced flavour profile than the lower proof Blue LabelFinish: Long finish, and despite its strength, smooth and mellow Their new 'Spiced' variety is filtered and aged for a minimum of three years in once-used charred oak bourbon barrels and further enhanced with a unique blend of Caribbean spices making it the perfect winter warmer.
