Apart from the size issue it is a very nice warm robe I was overheating wearing taking the picture so I am not sure when this would be worn, if it's cold enough on the beach to have to wear this then I'm not going in the sea and with inside swimming pools it's normally too warm unless you want to walk home in your swim suit on a rainy cold day, but if you need to keep warm then you will not go far wrong wearing this. I ordered the L large size. Don’t get me wrong, it might be a thin outer layer, but its a really well made waterproof material. Really glad I didn't pay for the robe more than double this.

There is also a waterproof inner pocket so your wet body won’t wet any valuables you keep in it. The hood is wonderfully large.
