Evan Williams distillery from Kentucky, USA have made this little tipple to add to their extensive range which was first started in 1783! In Bond Wines Evan Williams Bottled In Bond Bourbon Bottled at a warming 43%, Evan Williams' Black Label whiskey is aged around four years, and is a great value starter bourbon - an easy-sipping, unpretentious whiskey that's a cut above many other entry-level bourbons but not too fancy to be mixed, and an absolute must-try for anyone new to the category. It has all the kick you expect at 50% ABV but with a lusciously smooth palate that's thick with notes of caramel & vanilla but with streak of citrus and a crack of black pepper to round everything off beautifully. Evan Williams Bourbon is aged far longer than required by law and bottled at a slightly higher strength than a lot of other Bourbons- so that you get to discover the full character of our whiskey.
- The result is a Bourbon that’s smooth, rich, and easy to discover.
- Mellow and easy to drink- either on it's own or in a variety of mixed drinks.
- Fantastic value for money whiskey!

The comments claiming this is similar to Jack Daniels or Jim beam are simply incorrect, this is not a whiskey flavoured syrup. If you like your whiskey fiery with a flavor of burnt (not toasted) oak then you'll enjoy this.

The vanilla and ripe banana flavours come though well and you can subdue the overpowering burnt taste with a couple of cubes of ice. It's closer to bulleit bourbon if it was served over charred oak briquettes.
