You could see the inside of it quite clearly if you didn't press it back into place, but it'd pop again after a few minutes, slowly opening up again. Once Windows has checked which files are the same name etc, writing speed picks up to approx. Robust buildThe not so great feature: write speed. Amazing speeds of data transfer ranging around 120 mbps.

Love it currently moving all my 264GB of drum kits & samples to this SSD at the time of writing this review so far so good 60MB/s. The first one I got arrived looking fine, but after writing to it for a little bit of time the front popped off around the bottom of the casing between the front pannel and the rubber bumper.

Very reliable needing no redo. I have a 1TB version of the exact same drive (that I use in a far more intense manner) plugged in right next to it for hours--this 4TB drive I only use for Time Machine backups. After returning a cheap SATA external drive which was kbps level slow and mostly corrupt sectored, i bought this Seagate 1TB (800 mbps). Maybe it is too early to comment on its longevity but here is what I see:- in reality, free space is 1.

So its better than the old Toshiba drive I have, but still, I expected speeds to be much faster. 0 external storage drive was a lot slower compared to my existing Toshiba HDD conventional external device (5400rpm) with USB 2.
