But we collect Schleich animals and these fit in nicely - even the smaller horses like Schleich Hafling Mare will fit in. Great set son loves them, they stand up themselves well however a little dissapointed the stable itself was scratched on the roof on delivery won't let me upload the photo says can't upload on this format but let's me upload another picture?

I highly recommend. Great my sons obcesed with farms tractors etc so all his fave things live in his barn (I put fairy lights in to make it look realistic ) I bought this as a treat to add to her collection. Can't give granddaughters verdict yet as we've put this away now till Christmas but but I think it will be a massive hit, I'm very happy with it.

5 stars from us Wonderful item and on the strength of how good this has been I've ordered the Melissa & Doug Fold & Go Castle for Christmas. Even the screws on the inside have been covered over with rounded wood so no nasty bits for a young child to catch themselves on. I love it.

So would still recommend to any horse lover. The horses are ok, but I have purchased some Schleich foals (Schleich horses to big) which are better detailed and better quality, but honestly our 2 year old granddaughter isn't going to notice yet.

Weve also purchased the melissa amd doug round ranch rug and i think together will make a lovely gift and provide hours of fun, would defiantly buy again for a gift. It's well made and just right size to carry around. This folding farm is my daughter's (age 2 and a half) favourite by a mile. My daughter loves the sliding barn doors which are easy for her to open and close and so wide that you can easily push animals through without any tantrums!

I purchased it after being told it was the perfect size for the "Spirit" brand horses. Comes with the horses too. This is a lovely little product, my son can easily handle it and lock/unlock it. I bought this stable for me, not for a child, to use as part of a project I was working on and I am very happy with itMy only criticism is the handle on the top, as I would prefer it not to be there, but I do understand why it is included so that children can easily carry it around

Lovely quality, all the wood is smoothed down and it is painted very nicely. I have had Melissa and Doug toys before and by and large they are of exceptional quality. It’s well made so Toddler hands can use it without breaking. My granddaughter (age 5) loves her horse's.
