5 starsI loved the synopsis of this one & was super excited when it was the March pick for #GraziaBookClub. If you are looking for a good summer read, I highly recommend this book. Determined, dedicated and devoted.

It had me laughing, it had me angry, and the last 40 pages had me utterly bawling my eyes out. loved all the characters & there relationships Don't get me wrong, I loved Garmus' dry humour, I had a laugh on more than one occasion, and the message of the book is positive and encouraging, but to get to that message. I loved this story, it's setting, the quirky and convincing characters, even the science and I certainly did not excel at that when a schoolgirl.

WRONG! It‘s a story about a female Chemist in the early 60s who also takes up rowing, two things women in the 60s didn’t do.
