One mistake I made is after the initial calibration was I didn’t add the saw width to the tool like you’re supposed to do. It has a hinge built in the box, so you can store and retrieve the gadget easily.

* BTW, this is obvious, but maybe not to new woodworkers, but the kerf of your blade will be inputted as an offset, so you get exact measurements. I grew up with “measure twice and cut once”…just save 1/2 the time; measure once, cut once- PERFECT!

Loved the build quality and the ease of use. I recommend removing the batteries if this is being stored so they don’t leak and ruin an expensive tool. I have included a photo of 1 of them… 6” spot on. Thanks Reekon!

Every time I calibrated it, it was always 1/16 off of the cuts I was trying to make but once you add the difference for the saw blade it is dead on every time. It seems I have less and less time and more and more to do - so always on the lookout for opportunities to get my work done, (the right way) but in less time.
