Younger kids could still enjoy paging through it for the pictures, or read a few pages at a time, depending on what in nature is interesting to them. This maintains interest. Absolutely love it and more importantly so do the class!

It's 1 cm thick and 80 pages, but the info is spread out into many different small topics with beautiful pictures. I absolutely love this book!

but was quite high level and required strong concentration. This misguide buyers. Unfortunately, PRHIPL price is Rs699 but Amazon indicates 799.

Also introduces children to basic non-fiction book terms such as glossary, index, chapter table and even citing sources (acknowledgements on the back page) which are important to learn. I selected this book for an Earth Day story time collection, and decided to purchase one for my own kids. A lot of great information for elementary grades readers. An interested kid could sit and look at it for a long time.

For those with an encyclopaedic quest for knowledge, the book lists, at the conclusion, a list of countries with a national tree. The sentence syntax is simple and the vocabulary used equally so in order to enable the young reader to enjoy this book by themselves. This is a lovely book brought to the market by DK and the RHS. The type of kids who love to learn about the world around them and/or love knowing a lot of facts about nature/animals will love this book.

Beautiful illustrations and text about trees, this is informative, educational and very interesting. There is also a useful glossary. Was a joy to read to our little one who found it very interesting.
