50 colours in drip bottles with ballbearing for easy shaking. Quick drying these are, and they live up to the ‘speed paint’ name. Although it is not commented on, the finish is like a satin gloss, which allows us to play quite well with the final varnish, depending on whether we want a brighter or more matte finish ✔️ POSITIVE ASPECTS: Huge variety The set works well per unit, just over 3. The bottles each have a drip dispenser- which can get infuriating if you know you’re going to need a lot, but if it helps me save paint in the long run then it can only be a good thing.

Nice finish from the paints and great set for noob or exp person. These are specifically made for hobby miniature painting and as such aren’t going to work very well for other hobby tasks as well as normal acrylics might. There is something for every tabletop game in here and you can supplement the set with the 40 other colours in the 2.

They still come in convenient, easy to use 18ml dropper bottles, with mixing balls preinstalled. This is a set of 50 acrylic paints for gaming and model making.

I am in no way an expert on this, but there are plenty of content creators who are far more eloquent and knowledgeable on the subject. The big issue with it is that the two ball bearings are the perfect size to block the nozzle of the bottles.

The painting guide (although it is in English) The gift brush is of good quality ✖️ NEGATIVE ASPECTS: Perhaps it is very focused on fantasy in color palettes and not so much on other types of models, although they are mostly perfectly usable. I'm more of painting military/soldier models and lately I'm more of personally decorating my slot cars and circuit accessories.

If you would like a more expert opinion than ours then please look on youtube or google before you purchase this new set. Army painter have been my goto brand for years now and I was glad to see them entering the contrast-paint market with the first version of speedpaints. This is a product by tabletop gamers and mini painters FOR tabletop and mini painters from a company that cares.

The truth is that the first army painter launch of speed paints had a community dividing bug/feature which was reactivation of the paint. the droppers really help prevent the old issue of paint drying around the rim and getting stuck closed. I believe the original formula was £3. The new descriptive names give you a nice accurate expectation of what the colour will look like which when paired with the triple colour swatch make colour selection easier.
