My children are ages 5-9 and potty humor is their favorite type of humor. I think target age is probably a bit older like 6+ To grasp concepts more The first few times, they just wanted to go through the book and press the fart sounds! Of course who wouldn't want to go through and hear all the different fart sounds, with the Royal Fart sound being a particular favorite.

If you are expected a story about farts, however, I would say this isn't the book for you. Even though I couldn’t really read the history and stuff on the pages for him fully since his attention span is not there. Also they looked strung out on narcotics or high some of the animal depicted. .
