Once you have it in the proper area of your lower back, you feel the support/cushion. It would be even better if there was another strap that goes vertically, so the pillow would stay in the right position (I’m always adjusting it once I’m seated). My physical therapist recommended this pad. I highly recommend the role and secondarily the book.

The other support, it’s net is too weak and would flatten out but it has good straps around the chair to keep it in place. A tool without knowledge about the subject is not likely to give you the best results.
