It is optimal at best and weak on average in terms of carrier signal capture(Airtel in my case) in case but is fabulous in village with 100% singal capture. I didn't measure the time it took to start the modem, I don't buy a modem because it starts quickly.

I can reassure anyone who has problems with using English as a menu language. But since most people will primarily use it as MiFi so singal capture for carrier network is most important. Is everything based on experience:) between 90-95%.
