It guides you through the process on first start up and allows options for how many setting points in the day (4 or 6) and a few other minor options. Easy to use, perfect for me.

when it went on or off (you could hear it from anywhere in house, and this Honeywell I can't even hear from a different room. I think the energy saving will be huge as we have heating always on at 17C before .

General configuration is easy to change, and the "pause" option is useful. So far it is working well as we can have it automatically adjust the heating at different times, e. g lower temperature when we all in bed at night and when we are out in school and work but still nice a warm when we come back home. For some reason many people have complained about he complexity of this device, but I've hardly had to consult the manual to configure.

My old Digistat 3 developed an intermittent fault with the contact relay meaning our heating never came on when it should. In our extension we have a CM905 (the predecessor of this) and I've been happy with that.
