Excellent as is but I like to add spring onions (some cooked, and some the green bits left raw for garnish), chilli oil (if you want it spicier) and a little drizzle of toasted sesame seed oil. These are a lot more edible than the Gourmet Spicy ones in the red packets but they still have a kick! Think they’ve added more chilli powder to the soup base unless it was another brand/flavour I had few years back. Also really delicious if you pound some garlic with salt and add that to the broth.

These noodles are great, they have a nice punchy taste and a very nice level of heat. Very happy 🍜UPDATE:I’ve started adding TVP (pea protein) to my broth while the noodles cook to add some more nutrients to the soup. Tiny bit of heat 🌶️ to this soup but it’s not too much to handle.

Bulk buying is such a convenience. . So on the other hand if you love spicy food these might not be strong enough for you.

I had a look through the reviews before I cooked it for the first time. This has become my favourite way to eat this and now my favourite noodle soup I’m going to buy this again.
