The handle of all hoes & shovels is coated with a special anti-slip lacquer. On one side it is for hoeing and loosening soil and on one side for breaking up and raking soil. The Faithfull Prestige Draw Hoe is useful for earthing soil up around potatoes or making shallow trenches (drawing a trench) creating a drill to plant seeds, once the seeds are sown the soil can be drawn back to cover the seeds.
