Now, she needs to grab her inheritance and figure out what to do next, but she doesn't know that her enemy is closer that she could have ever expected. This is a review of the audiobook. Oh my goodness ! This book was so much fun; I loved the setting and the characters and my biggest complaint would probably be that it was only 350 pages.

After being abandoned to an island by her father, Fable has to grow up and quickly if she wants to survive. Fable was full of adventure, plus it has the found-family trope which is probably my all time favourite book trope so I was always going to love it. I loved Fable from the first few pages and the story really just drew me in from the start. I haven’t read a book based on sea/traders/freediver.

Fable was just SO good. It’s so GOOD - easy to read, follow and enjoy. So when I wasn’t sure how I felt about “Fable” it stayed on my bookshelf and never-ending TBR list. All of a sudden at the end bam some love intentions spring up!

I don’t think it is built up enough and I just didn’t feel it in the earlier parts of the book which I felt could have pushed it up in the a 5 star for me. The moment this book started it was like a movie in my head. I really loved the concept of the book and the life of a dredger sounds amazing! I'm curious to see what happens next to Fable, and if she can get her HEA with West.

I literally devoured this book in three days and felt as if I was a part of its story not only because the author did an amazing job writing it but Narrator was spot on. Good character development and the author did so well at keeping me engaged !

Her intonations were easy to follow and even more easy to separate from who was talking at the moment. The narrator was so good that it was so enjoyable and entertaining to listen to the book. The ending was a huge cliffhanger and I’ve already started on the sequel Namesake!
