However, it has taken me 5 coats (6 in some places) to cover a very light grey satin. The slate really helps tie the brilliant white doors to the walls I think.

Highly recommend. Finally it was placed in a sturdy cardboard box with moulded cardboard inserts at the top and bottom of the can. It does require a few coats though, and a foam roller ideally on doors.

As it doesn't need an undercoat an extra coat of this is no different than using an undercoat. SEE PHOTOS TAKEN TODAY OF THE PART OF HALL WAY THANK YOU . To give you an idea, one small tin has done two coats on 6 x door-frames Plus my arms really really ache from painting the same areas again and again.
