About this deal
Suitable for non-music readers and non-specialists this is a collection of 37 all-time favourite songs for young children with new words. The book was prepared by a primary music specialist who was the author of Christmas Tinder Box. Designed for National Curriculum Key Stage 1 it provides an opportunity for children to respond imaginatively to the many opportunities for making up new verses. . Make sure to bring a sturdy rope and find soft grass or a sand pit to play it on. This rhyme depicts a conversation between the church bells of several churches in or adjacent to the city of London. This means the minute it arrives, your new record is ready to go straight on the turntable. It has always been sung and played as a particular dance/game whereby children walk in pairs underneath a bridge made by the arms of two other children. It is intended as a means of encouraging children to listen to sounds, discriminate between them, use them in performance and improve their co-ordination through actions and movement.

Accompanying each song are simple notes and ideas on enhancing the delivery of the song, so that children really get the most out of the activity. If you are Working in a preschool setting this book is a must have!
One Wee Witch
It’s in black and white with some illustrations along the way. First published in 1992, this is a great songbook for encouraging children to listen, explore sounds and develop rythym through actions. This came in paperback format with no ring binding as it suggests hence my reason for a star less.
Allthatglitters
The old favourites are here along with some newer rhymes that can be sung in well know tunes. This is a great little song book which will not be unfamiliar to more mature Early Years Practitioners and Teachers. This is a really valuable resource for anyone working with children, or for parents who would like to build up their own song bank for their children.

A must have for the music side of the preschool experience and some fabulous ideas contained within this book. A fun way to teach songs and music using your own lyrics but keeping the tune. The book was prepared by a primary music specialist who was the author of Christmas Tinderbox ~ SUE NICHOLLS
