It's the mid-1990s, and fifteen year-old Guernsey schoolgirls, Renée and Flo, are not really meant to be friends. Through friendship and conflict, difference and likeness, they'll learn to find their own voices. Categories, Collections, Filters & Keywords : Second Hand Books Paperback Keywords_Womens Fiction Keywords_Humorous Fiction Humorous Fiction Fiction Book Type & Condition_Second Hand Books Book Type & Condition_Second Hand - Very Good Book Format_Paperback All Books Through friendship and conflict, difference and likeness, they’ll learn to find their own voices. Although there are obstacles to their friendship (namely Flo's jealous ex-best friend and Renée's growing infatuation with Flo's brother), fifteen is an age where anything can happen, where life stretches out before you, and when every betrayal feels like the end of the world. When he and his friends accidentally stumble upon a strange book, they begin to unravel the mystery behind the weirdness overrunning their town. Cows in the kitchen, ducks on the dresser, pigs in the pantry. Renée and Flo's friendship will soon be tested in a way neither of them could have expected - and if PAPER AEROPLANES was a book about finding friendship, GOOSE is the novel that explores whether it's possible to keep hold of it. Theres a whole herd of friendly cows for children to meet in this touchy-feely board book for babies and toddlers. Titles In this Set:The CowsPaper AeroplanesGoose

The writing makes it very easy to immerse yourself fully in the story and feel you know the characters. It was funny and it has such a brilliant story line about 3 strong women. Stella; the woman with confidence and health issues, and Tara; who was the star of the show. I was hooked.

With strong characters and prose that doesn’t allow the reader to pause, it was a winner from me! It was funny, heartwarming, cringeworthy and even sad at times. Well done Dawn!

Honestly it’s a great read - I highly recommend. Can't wait for the next book 📙 📚 She represented the hard working lone parent.

There are many talking points in the book which would make it a great book club read. Cam; the childfree blogger.

I found it easy to read and each of the three perspectives explored had me gripped. How the judgement soon rolls in if we deviate from our perceived biological plan or if our behaviours don’t fit what society sees as the norm. I don’t usually leave reviews - but I honestly could not put this book down.

I loved the three plots and how they interlinked. I enjoyed this book so much, I’ve just brought ‘So Lucky’ by Dawn O’Porter. I couldn’t put this book down! I’d recommend this book to anyone who loves a funny read with a serious side to it.

Really well written. This was the last Dawn O'Porter book I had left to read.
