Everything said here about the problems with the Regular-Mouth Adapter are true. ✫Heres a direct link to the exact jars I bought that worked perfectly with the kit: Ball Half-Gallon Jars, Wide Mouth, Set of 2 https://www. This needs to be fixed. If your food saver has the attachment to use on bags or the plastic containers food saver sells you will be able to use this set with no other items needed.

Immediately seal the jar before the ring has a chance to dry. My FoodSaver model FM2900 sold at probably all Costcos, require one end round and one end oval.

I almost returned this jar sealer and Costco Foodsaver FM 2900, after reading so many reviews that this jar sealer did not work with model FM2900. I found that getting the sponge wet before each use seemed to be make a difference. So first things first. I start the vacuum before I connect the hose to the Adapter.

You don’t even need the hose that is provided. I bought this kit because it says FoodSaver kit for ALL FoodSavers!

As long as that bottom ring was wet I had about a 90% success rate. I found I had to apply some pressure to make the seal as the peices that go over jars are a bit loose so there is lots of exta airflow. .

I will say this. It's too narrow to fit on the accessory port of the actual foodsaver machine to work.
