0 Micro-B" type connector so you need to be sure to include it in your travel bag. . Read/Write speeds testing with a Lexar 64GB Professional 1000x SDHC/SDXC UHS-II Card, Class 10 using benchmark program "ATTO v3.

No need to say anything else. 0 multi reader from China - the same Lexar SD card only managed 73Mb/sec write, 85Mb/sec read - so yes, a good quality reader most certainly does make a difference! you would hope it's for a good reason. The USB cable is 76 cm long - the end that connects to the reader is the uncommon "USB 3.

The provided cable has the SuperSpeed logo on the connector (so it does comply to USB 3 standards) and a quick test proved that with this thing is possible to match the advertised speeds. You can leave it in the closed position to protect the slots when not in use. The screen grab is from a test with a card rated at 150 MB/s read and 90 MB/s write.

While disappointment can happen, this is not the case. 05" with default settings, 81Mb/sec write, 153Mb/sec read which is right on the specs for that card.

I also have an inexpensive USB 3. This reader is more expensive than average, but in spite of being a few years old, it has a sturdy build and it DELIVERS in terms of performance. A well constructed unit - features a push to close, buttons on the side to pop open to access the SD and CF slots.
