- Do not use steel wool or other abrasive products
- Wash by hand with warm water.
- There will be a gurgling sound during this process.
- Avoid using the handle for leverage.
- Fill the lower chamber with cold water just below the valve.

Only 4 stars though because its not easy to clean and if you dont have the cooker ring the handle can get too hot to hold. Love coffee love my bialetti moka pot! I wanted to make sure that the product was still functioning before I gave a review.

Also must make sure the rubber inside is intact and not disintergrating after a couple months because it can be dangerous. This is an excellent product. great for the campervan - will make a double expresso - get a bigger one if you want more (have a 6 cup one too - that will make a full mug of strong coffee) The media could not be loaded.

I grind beans myself before making it and the whole process is very enjoyable. The product as seen in the photo is still in excellent condition, this includes the handle, which is as the day it was delivered.

I get my daily 2 shot of coffee, sometimes more when the craving hits me. It took me maybe 5-6 first bad coffees to make it right. If you pair it with Lavazza Quality Rossa its perfect!
