What can I say? Personally I’m not a fan of the artwork. It would of course be easy to pull apart a book like this. So you miss an important chunk of the story.
1) It keeps encouraging it’s readers to read The Bible for further information with appropriate references. However it’s in opening pages it stated it doesn’t cover all the stories and is intended as a first step. But that’s personal taste.
Drawn by a British artist in a Manga style the book tells you an abridged version of some of the main Bible stories. I’m sure this book will appeal to some people and if it draws new readers to The Word of God then that’s a good thing.
