Best way to use these are as pictured put them on the tip of your toe to keep your toes warm the soles of your feet usually don't get cold or the top of your foot usually doesn't get told it's the tip of your toes so I used two pairs I put one over my big toe in my middle toe and then I take a second one and put it beside to get the rest of my toes on each foot so I need to use two pairs to be effective and after 4 hours they don't eat any more take them off and put new ones on to get 8 hours of warmth for the whole day along with a pair of wool socks over top of them after you suck them on your sock that's the ultimate ineffectiveness in my opinion. I work high-rise construction so I know all about cool feet in the winter.
