This stuff seems to work and I will use it for some other wall cracks around the house. If anything, I as always one rate past few decades I have always been frustrated with their result and way of working - I might be too demanding and precise when it comes to painting.
I quite confident that the crack will not reappear for a long while if at all. . I tried to once and for all prepaid a reappearing gypsum board crack on a diagonal ceiling between two Veluxes.
Then applied tiny bits of the filler - you got to be careful not to put on thick layers because of the slightly thick, rubbery structure of the files fit is hard to sandpaper afterward. This Toupret flexible filler seems to do what it says; it is sturdy and flexible.
So I prepared the crack by removing some of the paint and crumbles. We had the builders come back multiple times to address this but I have always suspect they used cheap and plain material to cover it up temporarily. It starts to harden instantly so I found that removed excess filer on you blade should not be uses again, unless its for deep gaps.
Given how prices of professional house painters have soared I decided to do some indoor paint jobs myself. But this Toupret filler is unmissable with the preparation work, that in my experience is alway the most time-consuming and essential part.
The filler can be plastered or painted over quite easily. I knew Toupret has a fantastic, useful range of products as was suggested to me by various of our workmen over time.
