I was a little reluctant because of the title. The book goes over what hands are for such as saying hi, getting dressed and waving hello. I was hoping it would help him learn how to properly use his hands. .

Its a great book but I was dissapointed when I got mine that it was a Spanish English combo (which is not what is pictured). There's not a lot of words, but they are very clear for a young child and my son even asks questions after or try to find another way to use his hands. Good for behavior.

After saying stop, I add "Don't forget that hands are for. I got this for my son about six months ago just before he turned two. " and I repeat what is in the book.

) I try to give him a positive education and the title is a negative sentence, but inside the book everything is positive so the messages are clearer.

Definitely recommend this book and the series (there is one on “tails are not for pulling” for our furry friends also very helpful! We have several of these books and also appreciate the tips inside the back cover, thanks! Other kids, mom and dad and even baby sister.
There is even a section for parents and caregivers at the very end to help with child’s frustration. I love this collection. Well I can happily report now that it did!
